The effect of calcination temperature, additive amount and heating rate on the densification of mgo ceramics was analyzed by XRD and SEM.

The results show that with the increase of calcination temperature, the activity of MGO decreases, which is unfavorable to sintering, and the growth of mgo crystal is slow before the calcination temperature is reached Adding a certain amount of mixed rare earth metal oxides as sintering AIDS, the sintering temperature of MGO ceramics can be significantly reduced, and the densification of mgo ceramics can be achieved at 1600 ° C sintering for 5 H, the relative density of sintered ceramics can reach 99% , and the open porosity is less than 0.1% .
